Angelika Koehne came to the USA from Hamburg / West Germany to Houston, Texas. She studied photography at the Houston Art Institute and works now as a commercial photographer in Denver, Colorado. Her hobby is black and white fine art photography and her images were shown among other places in FotoFest. Her "Hands" exhibit portrays very well known public figures like heart surgeon Michael E. DeBakey, M.D., Maestro Christoph Eschenbach, Russian Cosmonaut Elena Kondakova, Gold Medallist Debbie Rihn- Harvey, Pianist Andreas Klein, Her Royal Highness the Princess Sophie of Romania, and Athlete Carl Lewis.
